e2Advisors is pleased to announce the opening of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Experiential Development (CEED) at the Ketner School of Business, Catawba College in Salisbury, NC.

Working closely with the Dean of the Business School, Jay Abraham, and the newly appointed Director of CEED, Dr. Renee Just, e2Advisors developed the business plan for the Center which was approved by the Administration. We then developed the curriculum for an Entrepreneurship concentration as part of the B.S.B.A. degree, which was approved by the faculty. Incubator space on campus for CEED Lab was identified and the facility opened ready to review new venture applications from students and faculty.

We developed a series of workshops that run through the academic year. We also assisted the Dean and Director in identifying mentors, establishing a well-respected Advisory Board of Entrepreneur Alumni, and identifying potential speakers for the speaker series. e2Advisors also developed all of the marketing materials and the web site for CEED (ceedcatawba.com. CEED Lab, the entrepreneurial curriculum and the workshop programming were launched at the beginning of the school year in mid-August 2016.

UPDATE 2019: The first three years have been a tremendous success, with all entrepreneurship classes fully subscribed, strong attendance at CEED events and the formation of 18 vetted student ventures, several of which have moved into the CEED Catapult, an on-campus accelerator to promote the most promising ventures. Entrepreneurship is becoming a favorite concentration across the Catawba campus among Ketner School and non-business students, and is becoming a factor in increasing student enrollment.
